AAS Students Achieve the Highest Grades at GCSE

22 August 2019

The Amanah Arabic School students achieved the highest grades at the GCSE Arabic examination this year with the introduction of the new grading structure.

Out of a total of 26 students, from the School and external candidates who sat their exams this summer, 25 candidates achieved grades between 9 - 7 which are equivalent to A* - A and only one student achieved a 6 which is equivalent to a high B.

So in addition to achieving 100% passes, 96% of the candidates have acheived the highest grades possible, which is an incredible acheivement. Compared to last year where the pass rate was 94% and 78% had achievend grades A* - A.

The performance this year has been outstanding and has been built on the successes achieved in previous years. We congratulate the students, their parents and the teachers on this success.
