Amanah Day Nursery

The Amanah Day nursery aims to provide the highest quality education and care for the children. We believe that children and parents/carers have a voice and that they are entitled to make comments and suggestions on how there nursery can be improved.

Complaints Procedure:

If a parent or carer has an issue either with their child or the nursery as a whole they will follow these procedures:

  • Parents need to first talk to their child’s key person or the manager.

Then issues raised will be dealt within the following framework:

  • If it’s a matter relating to an individual child should be first discussed between the parent and key person.
  • If the matter cannot be resolved, the issue will then be brought to the attention of the manager, who will meet with the parents.
  • If the matter raised concerns a general /policy issue then it will be the manager that will deal with the concern.
  • If the concern cannot be resolved then outside agencies can be contacted. Eg Ofsted.

In every instance every effort will be made to resolve any concerns that a parent/carer may have with the nursery setting.

From the first of September 2001 the law governing day care and child minding for children under eight changed so the responsibility for all registrations and inspections of day care was transferred from local authorities to Ofsted.
